My name is Anise and my foster mom calls me "Neesi". My sisters Juni and Basil along with my brother, Ancho, have all been adopted! Now it is time for my other sister, Carob, and cousin, Saffron, to find our forever homes. We are a great group of kittens and were taken in when our colonies went through Trap/Neuter/Return. That means we are the last kittens our moms and dads will have!

Now that I am an older kitten, I have become a real love! I love to lay in my foster mom's lap, to rub up against my foster dad's arms when he is sitting down, to sleep and snuggle with the older cats in the house, and to lick our old beagle's ears (when she lets me). I am active and play with all sorts of things. The things I am supposed to play with are the turbo scratcher, little flat fuzzy toys, soft balls, glitter balls, and any other type of small ball. At first I may wonder who you are and take a bit to warm up, but I am getting very good at being a personable girl who loves attention!  You can see some videos of me with my foster siblings at:

Carob runs down and up the stairs with me at the bottom of the stairs. Then I tease my foster mom by coming up some but not all the way! You'll also see my older foster brother, Sundance.

I am a kitten who does well with other animals, and would be uncomfortable as an only cat. I especially like cats a little older than I am. Although, in a perfect world I would be adopted with Carob and Saffron, if I need to go alone, I should go into a home with at least one other cat.
