My name is Minaj, after the singer, because I can get a little vocal. And with my beautiful, silky, long black fur (which doesn't get knots), I needed a unique name. In the sunlight you will see shades of brown. Honestly, the pictures just don't do me justice.
My sister, Twinkie, and I came from a very unhealthy environment. My foster mom found us and knew she had to help us. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be here and was very mistrustful of her at first. It took two months before I would lay in her lap, but she was very patient with me and let me go at my own pace. I saw Twinkie doing it and thought "why not!" Now I'm a big old snuggler.
We are now clean, healthy and spayed so we are ready to find a home of our own. We have been together our whole life and would like to stay together. Almost all of our pictures are of us sleeping together because we're hardly ever apart. After all, who else is going to wash the top of my head?
