My name is Romano, and I am ALL BOY! Energetic, healthy, inquisitive, ready to run-chase-pounce, and love to be petted. Sometimes I get into trouble, because I am TOO inquisitive. But what can you expect from a beautiful guy like me???

Earlier in my life, I almost didn't live. I was born with a problem involving the duct between the two chambers of my heart. It didn't close off like it was supposed to when I was born. Thanks to the wonderful vets at UW-Veterinary Services, that problem was solved and I have been able to become the robust young man I am. There were lots of people who saw my plight and donated money so I could have the operation. Isn't that awesome??!!

My very best friend, Suvi, was recently adopted into an awesome family. Now I want to have one of my own! You can see how loving I can be in the video here:

With that said, I am all boy and can be a bit overbearing at times. I get along with most cats, but can play too hard because I really don't know any better! I am still making up for all the time I lost when I was sick as a kitten. But with guidance and love, I am sure I will learn. Also, I cannot go to a family where there is someone around who may open the door and not be aware I am around. Although I have been trained not to go outside in my foster home, I get really mesmerized by the birds and other wildlife and might go running off after them without thinking!
