Lela knows what she wants, and one of those things is to be brushed! She has such a way about her, and expects everyone to go along with her way of thinking. She loves her brother, Milo, and the two of them are quite a pair! One interesting thing about Lela is that she is polydactyl--she has an extra toe on each of her front feet! You can see that in one of her photos.

When they were just babies, they were adopted from a shelter into a loving home. For six years, they lived with their mom, her son and his family, and a dog. All was well in his universe. Then his mom got older. She was not able to live on her own. Because of this, she needed to go live with a second son in a different state. He said that she could bring Milo and Lela, but they would have to live outside. that is not an option for this pair.

Lela likes to watch Milo do a lot of things, and then tries them herself. She is not as outgoing as her brother, but is every bit as interested in life. She also has "woobies," toys that she treats like babies, and coos over them as she carries them around. When her foster parents go into their room, she loves to be petted and fawned over. While it might take her a bit longer to adjust to her new family, she will be a willing and loving participant.

It would be wonderful for Milo and Lela to go to a forever home they will be in for the rest of their lives. Please consider them for additions to your family.
