Meet Ginger. She and her housemate, Honey,, sadly need to find a new home (although they do not yet know this). Their dad just went through extensive treatments for leukemia, and his doctor told him that he could not be around any animals now. That his immune system needs to establish itself. So, the girls won't be able to stay with the mom and dad they love and who love them. PFM is helping their parents (former foster parents for PFM) find them a great second home.

Ginger is about 6-years old and a little gal at only about 6 pounds. She is up to date with shots. This young lady will need extra TLC. She loves her parents an immense amount, but is frightened by other people. She will not understand what is happening to her when she has to leave, and will need someone with patience to spare who will allow her to find her brave side and love again. She is very loving once you have her trust. With a cozy blanket on your lap, she will honor you with laying on it and sleeping. Her mom says she loves to be sung to when she eats...especially the soft kitty, pretty kitty, purr song (which any foster or adopter will be given a copy of so they know it!). Like Honey, Ginger would do best with a single man or woman or a couple. She would not do well around children or dogs.  She did get along with other cats, but may need so much extra attention at first that being an only cat could work out well. The exception would be if someone had a big enough heart for both Ginger and Honey.

If you are interested in fostering Ginger instead of adopting her, please let us know at the email address below.

If you are interested in adopting Ginger, we ask that you fill out a non-binding adoption application on our website, which we will give to her parents. For more information, you can email us at purrfectmatch13@gmail.com and we will forward your questions on. Thank you for your interest!
