This gorgeous boy is Basil and he will be looking for his forever home. He and his siblings, Parsley and Tabasco, were born in a room in a home where the people were not sure what to do when the cat they had rescued actually had kittens! So, the babies spent the first five months of their lives sequestered in one room. Then they were brought into foster care in Purr-Fect Match. Here, they have gotten attention, and learned a bit about more consistent human contact. We would love to see it continued by them having a home of their own!

Basil is a shy guy who may not be the life of the party, but loves to be loved when the time is right.  He prefers to watch and come out when it’s quiet so he can receive his desired attention.  He has one loud motor and enjoys when someone pets him.  He isn’t sure about being held yet, but he is learning how to trust.  And just look at that gorgeous coat!  Because of his age and shyness, we believe he will best be served if he is adopted with his brother, Parsley. We will consider other applicants, however.
