My name is Scooter and like my name, I've been a go-getter from the very beginning.  My foster mom calls me "the leader of the pack" because I was the first one to do just about everything.  I was the first one out of the playpen, the first one to learn to drink water, the first one to learn how to purr, the first one to venture out of the room and the first one to figure out the stairs.  The other kitties didn't even bother me and now I even like to snuggle with some of them. The family dog scared me at first, but now she doesn't bother me - she's a Coon Hound so she's really big.  I am very curious and always want to check everything out, which can sometimes get me in a little trouble.  I am also quite long and flexible and can be found in some of the silliest positions.  My foster mom says I have the loudest purr she's ever heard and I turn it on every time she picks me up.
