I am MR. PURR, but they call me Lyam. I am a cuddle-bug with big, round eyes and a huge heart! I am a growing boy who loves life. My sister, Libbie, and I were rescued from a Trap/Neuter/Return site where the next door neighbor threatened to shoot us. We are so young we would not have known better, and that would have been the end of us.

But here we are!! Our foster mom could not stand the thought of anything happening to us, so she took us in so we could find our forever home. I know my own mind and will tell you all about it. No conversation is complete unless I have the last word!  Of course, that includes my LOUD purrs when you hold me.  Actually, I even purr when you look at me!! I love to play and am a smart boy. I only want to be at home, so after I learn that your home is super special, that is the only place that I will want to be.

I really love older kitties, so if you have one or two that are at least two years old, I would make a great addition to your family. Because I find such comfort and companionship with other cats, I would not be a good only cat. In my foster home, I am especially fond of my sister Libbie and foster brothers Stormy and Sunny.
