My name is Dottie. At least that is what it is NOW. I used to have a different name, but the family I trusted left me outside to die in the cold last winter. I couldn't believe they could do that when I loved them so much. 

I was cold and hungry and really scared. I found a nice lady to feed me but I did not have shelter. Against all odds, I survived that awful winter that was so cold with so much snow.  I gave birth to 4 babies outside under a Hosta plant.

When my babies were 10 days old, we was rescued by my foster mom. FINALLY I was safe inside. My babies could grow up safe and strong. We had a warm bed and yummy food and people who took care of us.

My babies  are now 6 months old and have gone to their loving homes. It has taken me awhile to trust again, but I am now ready for a new family to love. A family that I can trust to care for me and love me forever.
