I am Millie and I am a super sweet beagle mix.  I am about 2-years old.  I am a happy girl because I am a survivor!  I have been treated and beat Heartworm!  I will live a normal life and the only thing that I will need is love, hugs and monthly Heartguard pills.  But that’s okay because they just taste like treats to me!

I had a very rough start to life as I was living in a cage in what humans call a puppy mill.  I was not treated very well, but these nice folks found me and helped me get better.  Then I met two cools dogs named Deano and Bradley.  We had a long car ride and a plane ride—that made me a bit nervous, but we escaped our bad lives and made it to Wisconsin!  I was tired, but so happy to be alive and safe.  I am now ready to find my forever home!  

My ideal home would have a fenced yard.  I am good with cats and kids.  I walk pretty well on a leash but my foster mom said I should go to school - that sounds like fun!  She said I can learn these things called manners to sit, stay and something about a treat on my nose... not sure what that means?  I do like treats.  I do like giving kisses.  I like kids, but since I still jump up, kids over 8-years old would be best so I don't hurt anyone.  I like car rides and like to watch out the windows.  I am spayed and up to date on my shots.  I am really ready for someone to come and tell me they love me and want me to be the best dog I can be... could that be you?
