I am Tanner, a 2-year old, male, black lab mix. I am a small boy, but that makes me fun size! I am very shy, but once I get to know you, I warm up quickly. I am a survivor because I have beat heartworm. I was found as a stray in Aiken, SC and received treatment. Then a bunch of nice people brought me to Wisconsin. It was a long car ride, but I am here and getting adjusted to my new home.
I am good with other dogs that are not hyper. I am a very mellow boy who likes to play, but not rough play. I get scared of dogs that are very excited. I like cats and am fine with kids that are over 10 because I don't like a lot of loud and excitable noises and actions. My ideal home would be with an older, mellow dog or cat that I can hang out with and lie on the couch with. I would love a place that has lots of green grass that I can run and play in. I would like someone to snuggle with and take care of me and show me lots of love.
