Hello! I am Hank, a southern gentleman who travelled all the way from South Carolina to find my forever home here in Wisconsin. I have to admit, I wasn’t sure
what to think about the snow when I first felt it under my paws, it was so
cold at first, but boy was it ever fun to jump around in and stick my nose
under it. I am a very gentle and laid back guy and do not have an aggressive or mean
bone in my body. I spend most of my days sleeping, and will get up to go
outside and eat of course. I love to go for walks, and I walk much better
for my foster mom if I wear a harness, this nose of mine wants to lead me
all over the place! I am working on that, my foster mom says I am making
progress.
I am a true hound dog, so my nose can get me into trouble every once in a
while, I just can’t help it, curiosity gets the best of me and I LOVE to
eat! Even though hound is in my breed, I have not barked once since I have arrived here in the Midwest. I had a rough life in South Carolina, but so far my journey to
Wisconsin has shown me that I can learn to trust and be loved again. If
you are looking for a companion without a ton of energy, patience to work
with me as I learn new things, and can make you laugh at my adorable
curiosity, please consider opening your home to me. If you would like to meet me, please click on the Adopt Link and fill out a non-binding application - you wont regret it!
