Charlotte had a home and a family. Sadly due to financial reasons, her family had to surrender her to a shelter. A cute, husky mix like her shouldn't be a problem right? She will find a new home - right? Well, she may have, but she tested positive for heartworm. This means that the ONLY WAY OUT is with a 501c3 rescue to step up and rescue her. Thanks to the funding of The Heart Beat Goes On and RADAR, she received the treatment and will be ready to travel in January 2016.
She is a beautiful girl with very unique in looks - she has one blue eye and one brown eye. She is a happy girl. Only 42 lbs. She was an owner surrender - because they are unable to care financially. She's very cute, shy gal, but warms up quickly. We think she is a Husky / Hound mix. No matter what her mix - just look at those ears!
Charlotte will be ready to travel to WI in early January and is looking for a forever home. She is good with other dogs and didn't mind the cats. She keeps her kennel clean, so we are assuming housebroken. This gal is so confused because she had a nice home and doesn't know why she is in a kennel!
If you would like to meet Charlotte, please fill out a non-binding application so you can be one of the first to meet her when she arrives! Thank you for choosing to adopt!
