I am Bella, a beautiful, black lab / retriever mix. I was found as a stray in SC. I have the tri-fecta of doom for a dog - I am black, I am in a high kill shelter and I am heartworm positive. Lucky for me, Purr-fect Match stepped up to save me! They are treating me for heartworm and I will be ready to travel to Wisconsin in early March to find my forever home! UPDATE 01/25/16 - I had the heartworm treatment and I am doing very well. The kennel I am at - so I stay calm so I don't have a heart attack - said I am a LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I have the personality of a golden retriever. I am good with other dogs, but am afraid of cats! I am gentle and calm.
