Howdy! I am Suzi, an owner surrender that ended up in a high kill shelter. It wasn’t looking good for me, as I was also a black dog (the most common to be euthanized) and I had heartworm. I am a black lab retriever mix. I have gone through my treatment, traveled to WI and am now ready to find my forever home!
I would really like a home where I can be the only dog. I am ok with other dogs, but I would really like all of the attention! I like kids so I can run and play with them. I am petrified of cats, so a feline free home would be preferred. I am a nice, petite gal, just over a year, so I have some puppy in me yet! I love to chew on rawhides. I am used to being crated but I love to sleep on my pet bed too ! I like to play ball and with toys. If you spend some time with me, I know I could be the best dog ever!
I love to go for walks and walk very well on a leash. I get very excited when I first meet you and will jump up, but I calm down quickly.
