Hello, I am Joey, or Joe-Joe as my foster mom calls me. My pictures don’t do me justice. I am a senior, brown, 9yr old, male Chihuahua. I was an owner surrender with my housemate Sammy. I was not vetted much, but surprisingly in good health. I was just recently neutered and received a dental – my teeth were pretty bad and I had 11 of them removed! It was also discovered that I have a heart murmur. The x-ray showed a slightly enlarged heart. I am on some medication to keep my blood pressure down so my heart doesn’t have to work so hard. I wont be on this forever.
BUT!!! You wouldn’t know I had a heart issue! I love attention! I love people! I am a happy, bouncy dog that will bounce right out of a fenced yard! I don’t go too far – it’s just because I can do it! Because I was neutered late in my life, Sammy and I did mark when we first came into foster. My foster mom uses belly bands and since our surgery we are marking less and less.
